Job Description

Role Purpose

This Business Analyst will focus on the ERP transformation initiative, who acts as a bridge in finance domain knowledge with system implementation experience to support ERP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate understands financial processes and can work closely with both business users and technical teams to translate requirements into effective system solutions between the business functions and the ERP implementation team. The role requires strong ERP implementation experience to ensure requirements are accurately captured, validated, realized in the new ERP solution along with clearly documented business processes and workflows. This role ialso expected to drive change impact assessment and adoption to ensure transformation success.

Key Responsibilities

Engage business functions for ERP requirements

Collaborate with finance, HR, procurement, supply chain, and operations teams to define ERP module requirements and priorities.

Conduct ERP fit-gap analysis

Work closely with ERP vendors to evaluate standard ERP capabilities against Ranhill SAJ's requirements and document necessary customizations with cost/benefit implications. Facilitate requirement elicitation sessions Lead targeted workshops, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, and deep-dive interviews with module owners to capture precise functional requirements. Document business processes and workflows Capture "as-is" processes, workflows, decision points, exceptions, and roles. Create process maps, flowcharts, SOPs, and other artifacts. Validate with stakeholders and refine into "to-be" ERP-enabled processes.

Develop functional documentation

Prepare detailed BRDs, FDDs, user stories, and process workflows for ERP modules. Clearly map "as-is" to "to-be" ERP-enabled processes.

Support solution design and configuration

Partner with ERP consultants to review and validate system configurations, ensuring business requirements are met.

Coordinate ERP testing

Create UAT scripts, oversee execution, and ensure defects are tracked and resolved. Validate modules deliver intended outcomes.

Assist data migration activities

Define data migration requirements, support data cleansing, and verify data integrity post-migration. Drive change management and adoption Contribute to ERP training programs, user manuals, and adoption campaigns to ensure smooth transition. Conduct change impact assessments to identify how ERP transformation affects people, processes and policies - put together strategies to address arising issues. Monitor and optimize post-go-live performance Gather feedback, assess performance, and recommend improvements for continuous optimization.

Comply with ERP methodologies and governance

Ensure deliverables align with ERP implementation methodologies (SAP ASAP, Oracle AIM, or Microsoft SureStep) and program governance standards.

WORK EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Having 5-8 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with hands-on involvement in at least one full-cycle ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent). Experience in business process documentation and modeling (e.g. BPMN, flowcharts, process mapping tools). Familiarity with ERP methodologies (SAP ASAP, Oracle AIM, Microsoft SureStep). Understanding of Agile or hybrid ERP delivery models (user stories, sprints, backlogs). Strong understanding of ERP functional areas: finance (AP, AR, GL), HR/payroll, procurement, supply chain, and asset management.

Understanding in SAP modules; SAP FI, CO, S/4HANA Finance, BPC, or MM/SD integration.

Familiarity with tools for process modelling, wireframing, and testing Excellent documentation, analysis, and stakeholder management skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability to evaluate complex requirements. High adaptability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced transformation environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders from frontline teams to C-level executives. Strong documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences. Collaborative mindset, able to work seamlessly with diverse teams across functions.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
