Role ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryWork with the business / COOs and infrastructure teams to gather / define / document business requirements for end to end delivery of regulatory changes to a trade compliancy platform (Rules Engine).ResponsibilitiesStrategy

  • Be aligned with the banks strategy
Business
  • Basic Understanding of Financial Markets.
  • Basic understanding of Financial Products: FX spot, Fx forward, interest rate swaps etc
  • (Ideally) Some understanding of regulatory and/or Compliance space
  • Processes
  • Follow an agile methodology
  • Working with large data sets
  • Transform Business requirements into logical decision flow diagrams
  • Write clear technical instructions
  • Follow robust testing methodology
  • Communicate change with stakeholders
Risk Management
  • Be Risk Averse and understand the impact from breaching specific regulatory requirements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in any relevant field.
  • Min 5 years of working experience.
Role Specific Competencies
  • Coding in any language (eg Python )
  • Decision Tree and process Mapping
  • Managing large data sets \xe2\x80\x93 Excel \\Databases
