As a Business Consultant/Pre-Sales Engineer, what are you going to do?

• Meeting with and advising customer executives and managers throughout the consultation process, determining business needs, and assessing and analyzing customer business practices and procedures;
• Identify potential solution options and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
• Create business models that can quickly identify business cases across a range of variables;
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, analyzing existing systems and technical solutions;
• Create a concept of operations, process flows, use cases and cost/benefit impact analysis to help the Sales teams engage internally and develop the value proposition with customers;
• Contribute to the development of functional specifications, constantly recommending solutions for improvement;
• Keep up to date with technology and industry-wide developments;
• Develop organizational knowledge of the key differentiators, value-add and industry considerations for the Vision-Box Sales and support teams;
• Enhance and grow the Business Consultants' knowledge in their regional and global capabilities through proactive collaboration;

• Engage across the solution practice inside of Vision-Box to help align Product, Sales and Marketing activities;
• Apply critical thinking and problem solving to ensure the people, process and technology impacts are accounted for;
• Help to create commercial models to model the costs, value, risks, and opportunities for internal and customer purposes;
• Take ownership of tasks to see them through to the end at a high quality and performance

What are the skills and professional experience we're expecting from you?

• Masters or bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing and/or Technology;
• Existing 5+ years of business consulting, pre-sales or solution design;
• Experience in Software Architecture Design;
• Experience in Infrastructure architectural design;
• Experience in the transport (air travel industry) a considerable plus, and/or identity management sectors (desirable);
• Passion for technology applications into positively life impactful scenarios;
• Demonstrated ability to influence and shape customer decisions at technical, functional and business levels;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English is a must, additional working languages are highly welcome.
• Ideally based in Malaysia
