Position Description

Mission/purpose of the Job

Assisting Business Control Manager in all business control activities by ensuring that financial policies and procedures are adhered to and support business growth through effective and efficient business control activities

Key Responsibilities

In the areas of Soft Products, Trucks - Parts and Labour:

  • responsible for monthly preparation, review and analysis of financial KPI reports (AIM and Retail Incentives reports)
  • responsible for the monthly preparation, review, forecasting and analysis of Service Agreements business financial results
  • responsible for balance sheet records, valuation and adequacy of provisions
  • Assist immediate superior in the development, implementation and monitoring of targets and budgets. Assist immediate superior in conducting variance analysis of actuals against budgets / forecasts and develop action plans
  • Ensure the adherence of uniform accounting practices, adequate internal controls, in accordance with the financial policies and procedures
  • In the areas of total Trucks capital expenditure, responsible for the monitoring, reporting, forecasting and analysis.
  • In the areas of total Trucks financial control, assist immediate superior on provisions and accruals maintenance and year end reviews
  • Assist immediate superior in performing financial analysis to support continuous business growt
  • Discharge such other duties and responsibilities that may be directed by the immediate supervisor and CFO
  • To participate in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 implementation throughout the organization and full cooperation in HSE implementation

Your profile
  • Certified accountant or possesses a university degree in Finance / Accounting or finalist in Professional Accounting Examinations
  • Highly computer literate (Microsoft Office suite) and is familiar with various accounting and financial systems
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and delivers on time.
  • Conscientious, integrity and team player qualities are essential.
