The CompanyOur client is an international logistics and freight forwarding company that offers transportation solutions globally. The company provides a wide range of customized solutions of logistics services and supply chain solutions such as Transportation, Warehousing and Custom Clearance.Reporting to the Managing Director - Warehouse Solutions MY & SG, the Business Controller will be responsible for the offices across Malaysia, Vietnam & Singapore.The role

• Review job-level GP differences and conduct accrual checking with operation manager for accuracy.
• Implement accrual SOP and ensure correct process explanation.
• Upload financial data into TM1 system and download processed data to report template.
• Discuss monthly results with management and distribute via Qlik Sense Dashboard.
• Preparation and submission of monthly rolling forecast and yearly budget.
• Develop and maintain internal control, effective accounting system and policies.
• Support Managing Director in new customer credit evaluation, input data, and review Ageing list.
• Assist Country Manager in weekly sales communications, organize dunning processes and act as an escalation point.
• Conduct financial analysis at sites and overall entity level.
• Ensure budget adherence for each site, and proactively address deviations.
• Present financial analysis, oversee clients contract, and financial validation for existing client portfolio.
• Review business and regional allocations.
• Lead yearly budget exercise and update the 5-year strategy plan.
• Analyze and challenge operational and financial site results.
• Develop site performance comparisons and promote best practices and propose new cross-site improvements.
• Provide monthly and quarterly result comments from accounting and business team.
• Analysis, projection and drafting of investment decision papers.
• Address other controlling topics as needed.

The Requirements

• CA/CPA qualified preferred.
• At least 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Able to work in a team and drive culture excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and interpreting financial data.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
