The opportunity

Seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Manager - Business Development to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our client portfolio within the logistics industry. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be based in our Subang Jaya, Selangor office.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research, networking, and building relationships with potential clients Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new contracts and achieve sales targets Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that all contractual and legal requirements are met Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional customer service and support Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's sales and marketing plans

What we're looking for

Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia languages.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of the logistics industry and the ability to identify and address client needs Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients Proficient in data analysis and reporting to measure and optimise sales performance Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience needed.
