• We are seeking for dynamic candidates to expand our business development team and support the company\xe2\x80\x99s growth journey.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Marketing & quotation

• Acquire new customers and develop new projects from existing customers, directly managing the request for quotation (RFQ) process. Ensure the quotation process yields profitable business for the company while remaining competitive for prospective customers, working alongside other departments on potential cost and process efficiency. Support senior management on pricing negotiation with customers.

2. Contract review

• Conduct thorough review of contracts from customers to ensure they are fair, align with industry standards and protect the company\xe2\x80\x99s interests. Identify and assess potential risks, including financial, operational and legal risks and propose necessary amendments to mitigate these risks. Negotiate with customers to arrive at an amicable resolution.

3. New product introduction (NPI)

• Manage the NPI process for customer-conceived products, for efficient progression through the NPI stages from concept to pilot production, then mass production.

4. Relationship management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers\xe2\x80\x99 day-to-day communications. Efficiently manage and fulfill customers\xe2\x80\x99 requests, addressing concerns promptly. Maintain strong, long-term relationships by providing exceptional service and gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement in the Company. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded.

5. Reporting structure

• Reports directly to the Senior Director of Global Business Development overseeing Malaysia and Indonesia. Possible hybrid working arrangement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder in Business/Project Management, Chemical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in Sales and Marketing for the Manufacturing industry, preferably with some exposure to healthcare and automotive
• Qualities sought after in a candidate:
• In-the-know on latest trends and developments in the industry
• Proactive, able to assimilate in the Company\xe2\x80\x99s performance-based culture
• Exhibit strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• Possess good attitude, discipline and collaborative leadership style
• Willing to travel and relocate as needed, with own transportation
