Job Responsibility As a business development manager, you\'ll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. Your work can involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way. You may have a single role in the organisation or lead a team of staff. Your work will often reach across all areas of the business. Key Responsibilities Identify and research potential property owners, real estate investors / agents, and other relevant stakeholders in the property management industry. Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation. Generate leads and cold call prospective and potential leads such as property owners, real estate investors / agents, and other relevant stakeholders & set appointments with them. Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone. Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these. Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business. Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes. Create tailored proposals and presentations that showcase the company\'s property management services, highlighting the value and benefits of partnering with the company. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new owners by conducting sales pitches, presentations, and negotiations. Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department. Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate and keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world. Help to plan sales campaigns. Create a sales pipeline. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing owners and partners to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term business relationships. Work closely with the Owner Engagement Team to ensure a smooth transition of new owners and assist in the onboarding process if necessary. Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with strong interest in property management are encouraged to apply. Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience in business development and sales, especially in property management services or real estate, is a significant advantage; Industry Knowledge: Understanding of property management, real estate, and rental market dynamics. Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets. An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates. Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets. Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients. Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise your workload. Project management and organisational skills. Able to motivate yourself and set your own goals. Able to analyse sales figures and write reports. Flexible to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch. Willingness to travel as needed for agent / owner meetings and industry events.
