Danfoss is looking for a highly motivated individual to join as Business Development Manager (BDM) for Palm Oil. The BDM who will be responsible to create pull through end users, producers, OEMs and consultants and work with sales team to secure success in the push. You will work to improve end to end sales process through careful strategic planning and positioning in the large and growing sector. The ambition is to increase Danfoss share of wallet in Palm Oil in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand by identifying opportunities and drive end to end activities across sales teams and business with a \xe2\x80\x9cCAN DO\xe2\x80\x9d mindset. It is a career position for a strong sales profile.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Develop application expertise related to Palm Oil under the F&B hotspot for direct & indirect strategic channels to generate sales and to achieve project pipeline development target.

• Develop new strategic end-user opportunities or long-term project opportunities for project pre-sale proposal and technical consulting for the design stage, tendering, and bidding process.

• Establishing connection and with key stakeholders - OEMs, end-users, producers, contractors, and consultants to influence opportunities at early stages of projects, while enhancing the good relationship with existing customers via spec-in activities.

• Assess market opportunities, develop strategy and business proposals, generate contacts and maintain opportunity pipelines - BDM is the key owner of all the aspects of the client development and opportunity awareness.

• Engage in industry and engineer networks and relevant government and industry boards and associations with extended network to EPC, Design Community, OEM and Project Management Advisors throughout the local marketing activities.

• Build internal competencies across business lines and cross segment sales teams.
• Support sales teams in technical and commercial negotiations with customers.

• Minimum 10 years relevant sales experience in Palm Oil upstream or downstream equipment and Spec In
• Strong engineer and technical background
• Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills
• English proficiency
