The Opportunity
The
Business Development Manager
is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive international marketing and business growth strategy aimed at increasing the company's revenue and profitability. This role plays a key part in identifying new market opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving new sales initiatives to support the organization's overall business development objectives.
What You'll Do
Oversee the overall business performance and strategic planning of assigned accounts.
Develop, maintain, and share a detailed understanding of each customer's business strategy, purchasing behavior, key decision-makers, business drivers, and competitive landscape.
Identify and drive the development of new markets and trade lanes while expanding existing ones.
Establish and nurture strong account relationships in line with the company's strategic objectives.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and claims.
Plan, lead, and facilitate customer negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure volume, product mix, and profitability targets are achieved.
Ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and service excellence.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development within the logistics industry.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Customer-oriented, self-disciplined, and results-driven, with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
