LOCATION: Sarawak, Malaysia

SALARY: Up to RM 5, 000; Incentive Plan is provided

PURPOSE:

The role of Business Development Manager is accountable for the business development of clients based on dedicated vertical business line/specialization throughout the whole region in Sarawak/Malaysia. To plan and set sales direction and determine sectors to focus for Sarawak/East Malaysia in terms of Branch Sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work with and Senior/Consulting Managers to identify major accounts for respective branches/divisions.
  • To ensure a weekly visit to 8 clients (minimum 8 visits per week)
  • To identify target accounts for penetration and growth.
  • To service major/group accounts.
  • To complete RFI/RFP feasibility study and submission.
  • To ensure weekly sales reporting.
  • To maintain PERSOLKELLY brand awareness.
  • To be involved in networking events/launches etc. to increase visibility.
  • To identify and target new markets/sectors.
  • To identify and target new potential accounts.
  • To create market awareness internally within the teams.
  • To track competitors\' activities within the industry.
  • To set and maintain high standards of professionalism in all aspects, including personal presentation and manner, standards of branch tidiness and appearance, telephone manner and communication.
  • Other duties/special projects/responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

General Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing
  • Minimum 4-5 years proven track record in sales & business development
  • Experience in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proficient in MS-office especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Business intelligence (BI) experience will be an added advantage- analyzing complex sets of data within a company to determine recommendations for business growth and improvement
Technical/ Professional Skills
  • Cold Calling + Target List creation.
  • People management, product knowledge
  • Negotiation and qualifying skills
  • Consultative skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Good experience with excellent contact in handling corporate clients
  • Excellent communication & coordination skill, both verbal and written.
