Join us as Business Development Manager \xe2\x80\x93 APAC for the Electrification Business Area where you will be empowering to drive the change, influence and contribute to the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategy for the future business. Reporting to the APAC Sales Leader and the region / territory for the position is Asia Pacific including and China and this position will be based out of Malaysia.
Your responsibilities
Searching and identifying new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, services as well as looking for new ways of approaching and reaching existing markets
Identifying new market trends, technology for the power industry
Connecting customers with the organization to develop solutions/products and partnership
Representing company at trade shows and industry events
Responsible in developing in these areas -
DC business/Industrial electronic/5G/Data centers,
Industrial - Semi Test and Laser Application,Electric vehicles charging infrastructure,Broadcast \xe2\x80\x93 TV and Radio infra
Supercomputer centers and other industries of the future
Your background
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 10 years of work experience in commercial and 5years in Business development experience
Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of marketing and sales strategy
At least 50% travel required within the entire Asia Pacific region including China
Technical knowledge of power industry, power electronics, communication infrastructure or similar
strong communication skills and self-driven, motivated, and creative
open and curious to learn new technologies, collaborative team player and proficient in digital connections is plus
