Job Description


We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development talent to join our team at AirAsia Academy and help us achieve our goals. As a Business Development Allstar, you're confident in your ability to engage with corporate clients and deliver results. You will also collaborate with various other AirAsia business entities and external corporations in identifying placement opportunities for the Academy program graduates. AirAsia Academy is a one-stop tech, leadership and innovation academy aimed at supercharging the digital economy within the ASEAN region. Together with Google Cloud, AirAsia Academy is disrupting the conventional education space by bridging the gap between Tertiary Education and Advanced Industries within the ASEAN region. We fill in the vacuum that has existed in the past decades by upskilling and reskilling the workforce with what's relevant in the industry today, making our students highly employable, at the same time equipping them with skill sets required for the modern era. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate internally with AirAsia managers and recruiters, as well as external corporations to identify exciting placement opportunities for our Academy graduates.
  • As our Enrollment Coordinator, you'll be a liaison between the Academy and various external government agencies, coordinating student enrollments and generating reports to track progress and share with relevant parties.
  • Drive sales to meet and exceed targets and key performance indicators, aligning with our overall commercial plan to ensure success for our department and the company as a whole.
  • Provide valuable insights and perspectives on global trends in the education industry, with a special focus on technology and digital education. Use your expertise to identify business opportunities and threats and keep us at the forefront of the industry.
  • Be a champion for our customers and help us deliver the best possible experience to them.
  • Help our sales team operate at peak performance, ensuring that our customers are always satisfied and that our team members have the support they need to succeed.
  • Keep a close eye on sales performance and provide support to other points of sale as needed. Be a team player and help us achieve our goals together.
  • Oversee the development of sales plans, targets and budgets for our department, ensuring that we stay on track and within budget.
  • Keep track of our operating progress and results against our annual plan and KPIs, making adjustments and providing support as needed to ensure that we stay on track and meet our targets.
Requirements:
  • With at least 7 to 10 years of experience in Business Development, you'll be bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, helping us achieve our goals and surpass our competitors.
  • As someone who is driven and determined, you are always pushing to reach and surpass our sales targets, fueling the ongoing expansion of our business.
  • Candidates with background and experience in Recruitment Agencies are encouraged to apply. Your expertise in identifying new business prospects and placing the best candidates makes you an ideal fit for our team.
