We are now looking for a Business Director to lead and build our high-performing sales team in Malaysia and develop and execute winning commercial strategies. As a Business Director, you will: Develop and deliver a sales strategy in line with business objectives with a special emphasis on quality profitable new business to ensure successful delivery of agreed goals Provide direction in line with business strategy, lead, motivate and measure the performance of the Sales teams to ensure individual and team budgets and objectives are achieved. Manage P&L and execute brand plans / business plans to achieve budgeted sales revenue and profit. Prepare an annual sales plan and P&L in conjunction with other teams. Ensure effective sales monitoring is in place for all sales activity and ensure that the business is capturing critical data in relation to conversion targets and market opportunities, including the collection of sellout data, market share and category growth data from customers. Timely quarterly review of sales incentives to support the recruitment and retention of the Sales Team. Manage to achieve company objectives: Opening new customers in line with the brand plan and channel strategy Relationships with existing customers Avoid price conflict between offline and online sales Maintain customer- and sales records according to company policy Drive sell-in Front- and back-end margins that maximizes Company\'s profit Sales forecasting Management of following subjects Profit & loss budget Front-end margin Back-end margin Price conflict management between offline and online Review and consider / approve all expenses under the sales function Monthly forecasting Trade marketing Store rollout plans, in-store presence and activations Product consultants (PCs) Sell-out consultants Create and manage incentives for own team, according to Company policy, to support the recruitment and retention of the team. Manage trade marketing including In-store activities and sales persons Drive sell-out Create sales campaigns that maintain brand power targets Cooperate closely with Company\'s marketing and supply chain team, as well as other functions, to deliver financial objectives. Create and present a budget for approval and manage the business within the budget. Make weekly and monthly business update presentations according to company policy. Manage outsourcing and service providers. Conduct team appraisals and coach the team members to improve their skills and behavior. Other jobs as assigned We are looking for you who: Have at least 10 years of experience in modern trade channel management, with a focus on the consumer electronics industry. Your hands-on experience and knowledge in this field are essential. Consistently delivers exceptional results, ensuring that tasks are executed with precision and efficiency. Possess strong planning and organizational skills which enable you to strategically manage and optimize channel activities. Is a great leader with the ability to inspire teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Excels at building and nurturing relationships with partners, stakeholders, and colleagues alike. Have strong communication skills, both in written and verbal contexts. Proficiency in English is a must.
