Your assignment

• You will steer the country business performance towards a sustained long-term profitable growth, thus creating a People & Planet positive impact on our business operations, local community and environment where we operate.
• You also will be part of the country management team and will drive/ co-ordinate the financial business planning process for the country and secure alignment on the local business plan priorities through engaging and creating commitment among stakeholders on goal-setting and reporting.
• You will analyse what moves our performance in the different dimensions of the business and consequently recommend improvements through engagement of the stakeholders in the organisation.
• As part of your role, you will develop the competence of the Business Navigation Managers in the stores and together as a team, take the lead in developing and promoting lean, simple and effective ways of working.

• You have more than 5 years of experience in management accounting and commercial/financial reporting with proven strong analytical and numerical skills.
• You have good ability in driving the budgeting/ forecasting process and in ensuring the IKEA business performance commentaries are delivered to relevant stakeholders in a timely and concise manner.
• You have a degree in Business or an equivalent/ related field, and have the ability to simplify complex financial information (i.e. Revenue, COGS, Operating cost, Balance Sheet) into a structured way.
• You possess good communication/ presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft office and have prior experience working in a regional capacity/ set-up.
• Candidates with prior IKEA experience will be preferred.
