It focuses on maintaining the accuracy of net requirement signals for timely component ordering and delivery to support manufacturing activities. Additionally, the position entails resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly, including late deliveries, quality concerns, or price changes, to ensure satisfactory resolutions aligning with interpersonal goals.Moreover, the role encompasses processing non-conforming material requests and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests with supply chain partners promptly. It also involves authorizing payments for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation, while monitoring supplier performance to ensure adherence to schedules and specifications. Acting as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments is essential for resolving procurement-related problems optimally.Furthermore, the role supports plant or manufacturing unit supply Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and conducts Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) for supplier capacity loads, identifying potential manufacturing constraints. It involves analyzing month-end activities to recommend forecast modifications and supervising inventory levels to make purchase decisions that maintain efficient stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Additionally, the role requires staying current with software developments, providing technical expertise for the ERP system, and identifying procedural improvements to optimize operations efficiency. Completing special projects and assignments as requested is also part of the role\'s responsibilities.What will you need to be successful?Candidates for this position should hold a 4-year bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, along with desirable certifications such as APICS/CSCP/IBF for supply chain and process excellence. With at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, inventory planning, or purchasing, preferably in medical, pharmaceutical, or consumer industries, applicants should also demonstrate expertise in ERP and sophisticated planning systems, particularly SAP. Proficiency in MS Office tools, familiarity with relevant legislation, and previous medical device experience are advantageous.Key competencies include a detailed understanding of supply chain planning and MRP concepts, coupled with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues in inventory management throughout the supply chain. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with a drive for results and adaptability to change.
