Position SummaryWe are currently looking for a highly competent Buyer based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for supporting Procurement Managers to operationalize their strategy through procurement processes within the Cereals & Grains category.Reporting directly to the Global Category Leader, your main responsibility will be to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level as required - focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools, processes, in order to maximize compliance and efficiency.Procurement at Nestl\xc3\xa9As strategic partner of the business, we help the company achieving sustainable growth and we ensure responsibly sourced supply and value creation. Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. We also support markets with managing local spend. • Ensuring compliance with Nestl\xc3\xa9\'s Responsible Sourcing Standard, Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
• Support the category team with the data analysis and KPIs
• Ensure effective contract management for the category
• Supporting contracts negotiations with the preparation of the relevant data
• Preparing and supporting negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.

What makes you successful:

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance
• Solid experience within Procurement.
• Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• High learning speed and agility to navigate in ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
• Fluency in English is essential
