Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.What you will do:

• Placing orders for materials according to the MRP system order requirements. Ensuring timely and best possible material availability according to planning requirements (pull-in/push-out signals as required).
• Independently identify and resolve order and delivery related issues in collaboration with relevant departments and suppliers.
• Liaising with planning and production to ensure material availability. Coordination of technical changes (ECR) and introduction of new revisions in co-operation with the other departments. Obtaining and negotiating quotations in coordination with Strategic Purchasing and Head of Procurement, if required.
• Checking invoices, managing the dunning process, and processing returns in the event of complaints (NCR) to the supplier. Responsibility for ensuring an OTD supplier performance of over 98%. Maintenance and optimization of master data
• Preparation of reports, supplier performance reports and forecasts. Maintenance and monitoring of framework agreements. Monitoring and managing delivery schedules, consignment stock and VMI/Kanban supply systems

What you bring:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in operational purchasing, ideally in manufacturing or a technical environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent. Additionally mechanical/technical knowledge would be an advantage
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP knowledge preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
