Job Description

Responsibility: * Procurement of Indirect Materials for Penang factory and global sites.

• To plan, initiate and conclude negotiations necessary to conduct the business consistent with the company\'s policies and procedures and in compliance with all the laws and regulation affecting the company\'s business.
• Manage supplier partnership and performance on good quality, service, competitive cost and on-time delivery include but not limited to RFQ, PR/PO Processing, Delivery
• Negotiate, control and manage all contracts and agreements for Indirect commodities in line with regional and global purchasing strategy.
• New supplier evaluation and development.
• Vendor / Facility survey for approval & disapproval on the MRO suppliers.
• Make sure good communication with suppliers about Quality\xe3\x80\x81EICC\xe3\x80\x81Environment and Safety.
• Indirect spending analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the purchasing process.

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing and supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership with good vision, with at least 3 years management experience in foreign owned company.
• Strong commercial sense with outstanding negotiation skill.
• Strong people sense and able to work and solve problems in cross-functional environment.
• Result-oriented, ability to execute and deliver result.
• Excellent communication skills and good command of English and Mandarin.

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, purchasing/ logistic/ Material Management or equivalent education and/or experience.
