Engineer / Sr Engineer - Process Development Reference Code 202202201-82444 Duties and responsibilities Plan, design, improve, develop and qualify - using existing scientific methods (or new) and theories - for lean, robust and cost effective processes, equipment, technologies, and systems for production of medical devices. Apply the principles of Design for Manufacture, Assembly and Packaging (DFMA + P) for all relevant processes. Support the Product Creation Process for improved and/or new non active medical devices from the Definition Phase until the Production Ramp Up Phase. Select, and manage the activities outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. Liaise with other operational areas within B.Braun\'s global organization. Maintain, improve, develop and document technical expertise in areas related to Process and Technology Development for non active medical devices. Document process and/or equipment technology development data for traceability and reproducibility accordingly to ISO 9000/ISO 9001, and ISO 13485. Understand all applicable requirements, including but not limited to GMP, GDP, FDA, and all applicable regulations about work safety, etc. Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports/meeting minutes to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team. For more senior position, manage all aspects of a Process and Technology Development project, from start to finish, including resource, cost, time, risk and scope management. Set the priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. Coach and mentor less experienced engineers (juniors), check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Professional competencies Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Preferably having 2-3 years of experience in Production/ Manufacturing/ Equipment/ Process /Continuous Improvement Engineering. Good exposure in manufacturing environment. Possess Six Sigma and Kaizen knowledge. Experienced in failure analysis and problem solving. Experienced in continuous improvement tasks/ projects. Preferably having experience in medical or healthcare industry. Preferably having experience in project management and LEAN manufacturing. Personal competencies Be determined to achieve.
