Cad / Cam Machinist (manufacturing)

Job Description
Design & Programming:
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software. Use CAM software to generate G-code and select suitable tooling for CNC machines. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in programming.
Machine Setup & Operation:
Set up fixtures, tools, and accessories on CNC machines (lathes and mills). Operate and monitor CNC machines to perform machining tasks such as drilling, turning, and cutting. Adjust machine settings, feed rates, and perform tool changes as required.
Quality Control & Maintenance:
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications. Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and keep machines running efficiently. Maintain accurate records of production processes and inspection results.
Collaboration & Optimization:
Work closely with engineering and production teams to refine designs and improve processes. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficient in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks). Skilled in G-code programming and CNC machine operation (including multi-axis machines). Knowledge of materials, cutting technologies, and tooling selection. Competent in precision measurement and quality inspection.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
