The Caddy Master is responsible for overseeing all caddy operations. This role involves managing caddy scheduling, training and supervising caddies, maintaining the integrity of caddy services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall golf course operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Caddy Supervision & Management:
Supervise, train, and manage a team of caddies, ensuring they are knowledgeable, professional, and efficient.
Maintain a schedule for caddies, ensuring that the right number are available at all times to meet demand.
Provide guidance on caddy duties, including course knowledge, etiquette, customer service, and equipment handling.
2. Customer Service:
Ensure caddies provide exceptional service to golfers, assisting with club carrying, course navigation, and any other needs.
Address any issues or complaints from golfers regarding caddy services promptly and professionally.
3. Operations & Logistics:
Oversee the organization and proper maintenance of caddy equipment, such as bags, clubs, and carts.
Ensure all caddies are properly uniformed and maintain a professional appearance.
Track caddy performance and provide feedback to enhance service quality.
4. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all caddies adhere to the golf course's safety protocols and standards.
Maintain awareness of course conditions and provide caddies with relevant updates to ensure smooth operations.
5. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with the golf pro shop and other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Communicate effectively with caddies regarding course schedules, assignments, and any special instructions.
6. Record Keeping
Maintain records of caddy performance, tips, and hours worked.
Track and report on caddy performance to management and make recommendations for improvements when necessary.
Qualifications
Experience
Previous experience as a caddy or in a customer service role in the golf industry preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage a team, resolve conflicts, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
In-depth knowledge of golf etiquette and the game itself.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Capable of carrying golf bags and assisting golfers with course equipment.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
