Your challenges: This role will contribute to the success of the Service and Calibration team to deliver and maintain existing calibration service and develop incremental calibration business through individual and or initiatives with Sales, Service and Marketing. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction at all times. Effectively communicate with customers, from managing expectations through follow-up in a positive, customer centric, error free and professional manner. Adheres to service manuals, technical procedures, quality manuals and direction while properly documenting and managing work activity, time recording, billing, and quality documents in-house, on-site at customer facilities or over the phone as required. Demonstrates a positive can-do professional image and attitude in front of customers and colleagues always. Communicates status and expectations in both written and verbal formats in a clear, complete, concise manner as frequent or at requested intervals. Exhibits excellent proactive pre-call planning and follow up skills. Establish and maintain a high degree of technical knowledge pertaining to service activities described below. Satisfactory completion of service training curriculum on an ongoing basis. Assembles, cleans, calibrates and repairs liquid handling instrumentation through the attachment and/or installation of mechanical/electronic parts. Tests instruments to ensure conformance to customer, factory or standards specifications. Determines and completes necessary services which includes cleaning, replacement, adjustment or repair. Records calibration test measurements in computer database. Prints instrument performance test certificates. Promotes the sale of the company\'s service products and company\'s liquid handling promotion program. Travels to customer locations to perform onsite calibration services and sales/service promotions. Assists other techs outside their assigned zone or in a different pipette calibration office when requested by Manager of Service or Manager of Calibration Services. Your expertise: Diploma or Degree in Science, Technical or related discipline. Fresh graduate with a Degree are encouraged to apply. Two to three years\' related experience in a laboratory environment would be an advantage. Basic knowledge in quality systems especially in ISO 17025/9001. Meticulous and patient with ability to work with minimum supervision.
