Job Description

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate level role responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in complex processes in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity.

Responsibilities:

• Process all regular, restricted and legal transfers; which include processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) and recommend process improvements
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors
• Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed
• Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Previous relevant experience preferred
• Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations
• Effective verbal and written skills
• Effective communication and analytical skills

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/University degree or equivalent experience

- Candidate is responsible for day to day processing of Import Bills and Collections operations in trade transactional processing for Commonwealth Bank of Australia White Label Program in TRIMS Processing & Imaging - White Label.
- Deliver services as per agreed service standards and turnaround time to meet customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines governing trade operations.
- Conversant with and able to apply UCP600 and ISBP. Highlight irregularities and red flag items for approval/resolution.
- Understand the process flow for products that incorporated in the standard operating procedures.
- Perform and participate in UAT/regression testing, etc as per the requirements
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement/enhancement to develop LEAN process
- Candidate is preferred to have 2-3 years of work experience in international trade operations, good communication and interpersonal skills, - Fast learner, ability to adapt constant change, able to work independently and a dynamic team player who is able to work in a highly challenging work environment.
- Candidate is preferred to have knowledge in application of exchange rate/accounting entries/funds transfer payment.
