Cash Application Team Lead (4pm To 11pm /12pm To 9pm)

Job Description


To lead and coordinate back office credit administrative tasks while ensuring the accounts receivable is up to date and reconciled with customer and banks in line with credit policies, and collection guidelines.

  • Ensuring that bank receipts, checks, and cash transfers are processed promptly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Allocating payments, credit notes, and adjustments to customer invoices effectively.
  • Managing and processing customer remittance advices.
  • Investigating payment-related queries promptly.
  • Resolving issues related to unallocated and unapplied receipts and contacting customers if necessary.
  • Executing direct debits, refunds, and intercompany batches as required based on collection treatment plans.
  • Posting invoice and bank interfaces to the company\'s ERP system.
  • Conducting end-of-month closing activities in a timely manner following provided guidelines.
  • Managing customer escalations until the issues are resolved.
  • Monitoring credit exposure and aging balances for cash accounts.
  • Coordinating process dependencies with external parties.
  • Managing dependencies related to billing interfaces and banks.
  • Managing relationships with third-party countries and coordinating issue resolution as needed.
  • Managing dependencies with Financial Accounting and Cash & Banking departments.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance / Accounting
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position in a Shared Service environment
  • Well verse of O2C process and procedure. Full scope in End-to-End O2C Month-end closing
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Operating knowledge of SAP
  • Able to work independently, systematically, and steer/coordinate team members
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office application particularly Excel and Word.
  • Willing to support shift working hours : 4pm - 1am or 12pm to 9pm
