The Cash & Trade Proc Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to research, conduct analyses, and resolve issues. Responsibilities: Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Cash & Trade operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives Assist with providing informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members as required Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 7 - 9 years of experience in a related role within trade / cash operations management Effective verbal and written skills Effective communication and analytical skills Effective relationship management skills Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite Education: Bachelor\'s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Responsible for day to day processing of Import/Export Bills under Letters of Credit, Collections and Trade Loans for Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) White Label In-sourcing project and deliver services as per agreed service standards and turnaround times in compliance to applicable policies and procedures governing trade operations. . Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert) on Export related matters and recommend process improvements. . Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent. . Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables such as CBA Operation teams and Citi Technology team on daily operational matters and technology related issues. . Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed . Develop comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives . Candidate is also required to participate in UAT/regression testing, understand the flow of the process, build/update standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for consistent improvement to ensure a LEAN process. . Experience in managing a team of employees engaged in performing routine processing tasks, evaluate performance and make recommendations. . Ensure team meets performance and quality expectations of assigned tasks, identify training needs for all supervised staffs. . Candidate is preferred to have more than 5 years of work experience in international trade operations, good communication and interpersonal skills, fast learner and ability to adapt to constant change, a dynamic team player who can work in a highly challenging work environment. . Candidate also need to have strong technical skills in trade such as UCP600/URC522 and ISBP guidelines, strong comprehension on applicable trade compliance procedures and policies. . Able to multitask and has strong work ethics to meet deadlines, decision making and ability to work independently with minimal supervision, knows how to present thoughts and ideas effectively. Qualifications: . Good proficiency in English language (written and oral) as candidate is expected to have frequent communications with CBA counterparts. . Strong knowledge in technical skills in trade, well versed in UCP600 and URC522 guidelines - strong analytical and problem solving skills is required (CDCS holder will be added advantage) . Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. . Good managerial skills and has experience managing people in a unit. . Strong knowledge in Citi\'s internal processing systems mainly TRIMS and CBA downstream systems.
