\xe2\x80\xa2 Greet customers when entering or leaving the premise \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Scan goods and collect payments \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure pricing is correct \xe2\x80\xa2 Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets \xe2\x80\xa2 Redeem stamps and coupons \xe2\x80\xa2 Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change \xe2\x80\xa2 Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new ones \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep reports of transactions \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure sales report tally with sales collection \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure daily cash sales bank in correctly \xe2\x80\xa2 Process returns and check to see if items are damaged \xe2\x80\xa2 Answer customers\' questions and get a manager if answer doesn\'t solve the issue \xe2\x80\xa2 Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
