monitoring the daily operations of cashier counters closely and ensure smooth customer flow at all cashier points or check-out counter
To be well-informed of any insufficient cash deposit and make the necessary arrangements for replenishment.
To check the cash level of cashier counters from time to time to ensure that the amount of cash in the cash register machine does not exceed the limit.
To read the total sales figures on all cash register machines and to be present at the Check-out Counters to clear the cash register machine for the Cashiers.
To check and verify and all receipt errors and to determine cashiers\' short and over figures and maintain the proper records.

To attend to customers\' inquiries and provide the necessary assistance to them.
To assist as Cashier or Packer as and when it is necessary.
To prepare duty roster for the subordinates and to arrange for staff meal breaks.

Job Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Cashier Leader. Department Store experience will be an added advantage.

Strong leadership skills with positive attitude and good problem solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work well with all levels of staff.
Good command of language both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
