Department Overview The Product Procurement Team works with the Business, Engineering and other critical functional teams to create and execute the product outsourcing strategy. The team source and manages a pool of qualified suppliers to support our business\' outsourcing needs.



We are looking for a Category Manager, preferably with prior experience or related experience in the packaging industry. The Category Manager will be responsible for the overall suppliers management and relationship ownership, RFP exercise, product cost negotiation, product source selection and support for shipping products. Other duties include but not limited to, liaising with the suppliers and various internal functional teams on the day to day operations and driving product cost reduction.

Basic Requirements

In order to be successful, the candidate has to have:

• Minimum qualification Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or any related field with at least 5 years of working experience in the related field
• Prior experience and proven track records in operations and/or category role
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Documents with good data analysis skills and understanding forecasting methods
• Both an analytical skillset with a strategic ability
• Excellent communication and people skills to work with various levels of management and functions
• Good understanding on total product cost models and structures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Prior project management experience will be an added advantage
• Energetic, Positive, and a Team Player
