Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Co- lead development of annual regional category strategy and execute assigned strategic projects on time- in full (Time spent- 30%): Works with Regional Category Managers to co-own annual business plans and feedback into the SBP/ ABP process to develop robust share gain/ growth plans for assigned categories. Owns and drives 2-3 strategic regional projects for the assigned categories coming out of the SBP/ ABP process, focused on growing topline or improving bottom-line Responsibilities within project include (but not limited to) End to end project ownership and management Proposing project charter and execution plan as per project mgmt. best practices Run projects from concept prototypes execution by developing compelling business cases & best marketing mix (6Ps) Lead development of GTM and Commercialization plan aligned with regional priorities in collaboration with cluster teams, ecommerce team and other cross functional teams Lead cross functional team to run project through gates and deliver on milestones using established practices (Agile/ IMF) Develop and implement optimized processes and tools to more effectively and efficiently support projects Finds ways to Identify further growth opportunities and unmet chooser/user needs within assigned projects to further support profitable growth. Owns analysis, reporting, presentations pre/ post launch for assigned projects to define & execute corrective actions Works ongoing with cluster sales & marketing managers to ensure alignment on project priorities in order to support their segment and channel business plans including commercializing & sales capability building Leads assigned go to market workstreams for impactful launch deployment (Time spent- 30%): Packaging- Works with agency, cross functional teams & clusters to execute packaging transition within defined timelines for all category x cluster combinations using established tools/ processes ETQ - Owns ETQ system for claims logging and renewal for all claims across categories using approved claim matrix & substantiation from catg mgrs Certifications- Owns certification requirements across SKUs and categories and highlights/ activates renewal as required with support from catg mgrs. Owns & drives category strategy & deployment on ecommerce (Time spent- 20%): Category ecom strategy deployment- Works with eCom team to ensure category product and portfolio strategy exists in line with regional category strategy and translates it seamlessly to the ecommerce channel strategy. Category ecom readiness- Works with ecom team to ensure product listings are ready and in line with category objectives to grow share in our fastest growing channel to end users. Leads competitive & market tracking efforts for the category team (Time spent- 10%): Development of relevant category specific Competitive and Market Intelligence in key categories by researching and interpreting relevant new category & competitive developments in target markets Develops and shares quarterly tracker highlighting competitive activity in different clusters by working with country marketing teams Tracks local/ cluster led projects, initiatives, challenges across growth levers like innovation, pricing, DTV, ECS, & commercialization and presents back to category team once a quarter Analyzes SFDC information by category/ key project and reports back to category team on potential areas of intervention to drive growth once a quarter Supports Regional Category budget management (Time spent- 10%): Owns creation of purchase requisitions and orders for all catg requirements Ongoing management of category spends tracker to update POs raised, budget spent vs balance Forecasts spends and highlights over/ under spending risks ahead of time Essential Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree must in business-related discipline/ MBA marketing preferred Min 5 years of experience working in the marketing function of a matrixed organization Previous sales experience preferred preferably in an FMCG B2B environment Experienced in cross-regional / cross- functional collaboration (R&E, supply, country marketing, sales) Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy Demonstrated project management skills. Proven business management skills.
