Job Description

Responsibility: This position will be responsible for the installation of complex integrated security systems to include the simple wiring, equipment and programming of access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems and intercom systems for clients. Required Skills: 1) Capable of installing cabling, security equipment & control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to company and customer guidelines. 2) Can use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot problems during installation. 3) Reads and interprets diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational product manuals. 4) Adjust equipment or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation. 5) Performs system checks for proper operation. 6) Knowledge of computer programs including MS Word and Excel. 7) Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work paying close attention to details. 8) Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships. 9) Ability to analyse information. 10) Can work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and is self-motivated to complete jobs. 11) Completes and submits all necessary online paperwork related to job assignments. 12) Capable of using hand and power tools to properly mount and secure equipment. 13) Conduct End- User training. Qualifications: 1) Technical Diploma or Degree or equivalent. 2) Significant background (2+ year experience) in technical field. 3) Understanding of the function and design of Security Systems. 4) Must be computer literate to include advanced TCP/IP networking skills. 5) Must have own transport. Additional experience a plus: Digital & Analog Security Systems.
