Job Description

  • Drive business growth and profitability by formulating and implementing financial strategies.
  • Assist the organization in making strategic decisions by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Establish financial standards and track performance to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Maximize financial efficiency by managing budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
  • Ensure that credit, market, and operational risks are mitigated through strong risk management frameworks.
  • Strengthen corporate governance frameworks and internal control systems.
  • Ensure financial structuring, investment planning, and capital raising initiatives are successful.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with investors, shareholders, fund managers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Conduct financial assessments of investments, acquisitions, and major projects.
  • Maintain compliance with MFRS, IFRS, Bursa Malaysia, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise tax planning, optimization in working capital and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure steady cash flow and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Lead and reorganize the finance and accounting teams to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Group Executive Director and leadership team to lead and implement business transformation initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation and continuous process improvements across financial operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking, with a professional qualification such as MIA membership, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification.
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience, preferably with a public-listed company in the property development industry.
  • Proficient in corporate finance, financial modeling, tax planning, and risk management.
  • Proven leadership experience in developing and managing high-performing finance teams.
  • In-depth expertise in financial consolidation, MFRS, IFRS, corporate reporting, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to convert data insights into effective strategies.
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits strong integrity, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
