The role is part of the Finance Operations & Transformation organization, a high performing team centered on Finance transformation with the objective to become a best-in-class Finance organization, by delivering efficient and lean processes, improved tools to support better decision making and strengthening on focus and expertise. This will enable Finance Business Partners to focus on finance performance and resource allocation supported by Global Centers of Excellence and Regional Finance Operations teams to deliver Opex, Gross to Net, and Industrial Affairs activities.
The CFO support & FP&A controller will report into the Gross-to-Net (GtN) Cluster Head drive consistency and standardization for top lines related topics in particular in budgeting and forecasting submission cycles, gross to net reporting, and reserve analysis. In addition to the role of harmonization between all team members to ensure standardization across all processes. This person will be operating independently in a fast-paced environment while using strong analytical and financial system competencies. He/she will develop partnerships with the GBU Finance Business Partners, other CoE members as well as Budget Owners to drive results and control forecasts and budgets.
This role is part of the GtN Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Finance Operations and Transformation team. This person will help to identify and implement new ways of working as we transform the way Sanofi controls top line related activities.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure Harmonization and standardization across all processes within the GtN CoE team.
Be the CFO support for his/her legal responsibilities
Analyze, interpret, and summarize financial and other supporting data for management reports and presentations
Support the businesses to deliver to strategy and results, analyze top line related topics, and drive standardization and automation across the team
Manage all GtN related topics not specific to one GBU such as Statutory Terms, Market Access Terms, Commercial Incentives or Trade Activation.
Participate in the GtN reserves analysis process which ensures reserves are properly stated, risks are identified and mitigated, and GtN rates are appropriately captured.
Prepare consolidated view for all GtN related topics & gross margin.
Prepare needed slide decks for Cluster/GBUs performance within relevant reviews.
Educate client groups on all aspects of financial policies and processes to ensure compliance
Ensure compliance with all internal control requirements
Ad hoc projects as required
Partner with key expert functions to drive cashflow improvement initiatives/focus
Provide support during internal and external audits
Support all key Finance initiatives
Collaborate with Market Access, Pricing, Trade, and Finance teams to ensure components contemplated in the gross to net revenue accounting are accurate and complete.
Support the GtN budgeting and forecasting by collaborating with other CoE GtN teams to coordinate assumptions, timelines & way of working.
Collaborate with Trade and Revenue Management to ensure that the Commercial Policy is properly reflected in Forecast and Budget exercises.
Work effectively across multiple ERP systems and reporting tools
Develop metrics and views of the local business to help drive unique insights
Design and implement new ways of working with FinOps GBU Controllers & Finance Business Partners across GBUs, as well as Transversal GtN Team to provide cohesive and seamless support to Business Leaders
Continuously challenge legacy ways of working and status quo, identify gaps and recommend new ways of working - focus on best practices
Improve the business partner experience to focus on value creation
Promote efficiencies and improved ways of working across designated region and ensure best practice sharing
About you
Experience:
5-8 year of financial controlling experience

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
Preferred:
Commercial Finance
MBA and/or CPA
Pharmaceutical and public accounting experience
Pharmaceutical industry experience
TM1 and SAP experience
