To succeed in this position, you should have at least 2-5 years relevant experience in channel sales in the IT industry and with good record of achieving assigned sales quota.
Knowledge in channel partner management is a must and direct experience in a distributor required.
Driven, highly motivated and results driven, submit report on time.
You should possess a tertiary in Business, Engineering or Computer Science. Knowledge of security and storage products would be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team are also critical success factors for this position.
Responsibilities
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners\' expectations.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
Proactively recruits new qualifying partners, conduct partner enablement, engagement and key account mapping.
