Join us as Channel Sales Specialist - Contractor where you will be implementing the agreed sales channel strategy in specified market to improve ABB market penetration and realizing growth aspirations. Planing and executing channel initiatives and continuously monitoring channel performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in Electrification Business Area.This position is based in Subang Jaya; Malaysia You will be reporting to Segment Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy and budgeting. Contributing to the identification of appropriate channels and targets. Providing channel strategy input for the sales team, and helping to harmonize the market sales and marketing plans.
  • Contributing to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified market. Creating detailed business plans, implementing with regular follow-up.
  • Continuously assessing market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications, and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment.
  • Ensuring the major accounts in the segment(s) are identified and prioritized. Acting as account manager for one or more major accounts in the Country.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales in executing those activities that requires channel/segment partner participation. Implementing the planned communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel/segment.
  • Supporting in driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers, and other decision makers.
  • Supporting in evaluation/certification and training of channel partners.
Your background
  • Electrical engineering background
  • 5+ years into similar industry
  • Business development, sales experience, key account management advantage
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to work as a team member.
