Job Position: Chargeman B4

Salary Up To RM15000

Location: Jasin Melaka

s:

• Take charge of new installations and maintenance for a wide range of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with TNB, Energy Commission, and other regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with legal requirements and safety standards.
• Oversee new installations and maintenance activities to guarantee adherence to safety protocols and legal guidelines.
• Execute installations, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting for high voltage transformers, switch gears, electrical wiring systems, air-conditioning systems, firefighting systems, and other building services.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical technicians in corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
• Conduct calibration and testing of protective relays to ensure optimal system performance.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, demonstrating readiness to address and resolve issues swiftly.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive log books for inspections, aligned with the stipulations of the Energy Commission.
• Monitor, track, and analyze daily power consumption, and initiate preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and mitigate potential power failures.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

• Possess a Professional Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (B4 - 11kv/33kv) as a minimum qualification.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience is required.
• Ideally, the candidate will have experience as a Senior Executive with a specialization in Power Station Maintenance/Repair (Facilities and Machinery) or an equivalent field.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to function effectively with minimal direct supervision.
