Take charge of new installations and maintenance for a wide range of electrical systems.
Collaborate with TNB, Energy Commission, and other regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with legal requirements and safety standards.
Oversee new installations and maintenance activities to guarantee adherence to safety protocols and legal guidelines.
Execute installations, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting for high voltage transformers, switch gears, electrical wiring systems, air-conditioning systems, firefighting systems, and other building services.
Lead and mentor a team of electrical technicians in corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repairs.
Conduct calibration and testing of protective relays to ensure optimal system performance.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, demonstrating readiness to address and resolve issues swiftly.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive log books for inspections, aligned with the stipulations of the Energy Commission.
Monitor, track, and analyze daily power consumption, and initiate preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and mitigate potential power failures.
Fulfill any additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Job Requirements:
Possess a Professional Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (B4 - 11kv/33kv) as a minimum qualification.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.
Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage.
A minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience is required.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience as a Senior Executive with a specialization in Power Station Maintenance/Repair (Facilities and Machinery) or an equivalent field.
Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to function effectively with minimal direct supervision.
