Job Advertisement: Chef de Partie (CDP)

We're looking for a seasoned Chef de Partie to run an assigned section to high standards, support menu execution, and mentor junior cooks in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage your section (hot/cold/pastry/butcher) during prep and service. Produce dishes to spec, portion, and presentation standards; maintain consistency. Oversee mise en place, stock rotation (FIFO), and waste control. Uphold food safety: temperature logs, labelling, cleanliness, and HACCP/SOP compliance. Train, coach, and supervise Commis/Demi Chef; ensure smooth pass coordination. Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates; provide costing input. Communicate effectively with service team to ensure timely service.
Requirements (Must-Have)

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 1-2 years as CDP (or strong Demi stepping up). Solid technical skills (sauces, butchery, grill/saute, plating) and pace under pressure. Proven knowledge of HACCP/food hygiene and kitchen safety. Strong organization, attention to detail, and leadership of a small team. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Culinary certificate/diploma preferred.
Nice to Have

Hotel/resort or high-volume banqueting background. Experience with menu engineering and basic food costing.
