Job Description


Job Scope / Responsibilities:
1. Plans, prepares, and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers.
2. Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures.
3. Organizing, supervising and managing the staffs.
4. Enforce restaurant hygiene practice and regulations.
5. Be prompt to customer queries and feedback, ensure solutions and service recovery is always being delivered.
6. To implement effective restaurant administration, stock control, security and safety.
7. Perform any other special task and project that has been assigned to you by superior.

Requirements:
1. Must be Malaysian citizen.
2. Compulsory to have at least 1-2 years experience as cook at cafe/restaurants/hotels.
3. Able to communicate in English and Malay.
4. Able to work shifts, week-ends and public holidays.
5. Pleasant personalities, high integrity, committed and good communication skills.
6. Willingness to be a team player.
7. Commitment to follow Company policies and SOP.
The principal business activity of Specialty Food Enterprise Sdn Bhd (SFE) is managing and operating restaurants and cafes. SFE owns and operates all of Madam Tang\'s Cafe, Signature Madam Tang\'s Cafe and food stalls at major shopping malls in Kuching since 2005.
SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent
