Job Description

• To organise, execute, coordinate, supervise and monitor daily laboratory operations.
• Establish product specifications and procedures for QAQC for new or updated products.
• To carry out chemical analysis based on standard test procedure, to review the standard test procedure when necessary.
• To ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytical results and carry out quality control procedures.
• To prepare, organize or take part in proficiency testing and report the results with recommendations to upgrade the skills of the lab technicians.
• Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct test.
• To ensure operation and safety of the laboratory
• To develop new testing methodology
• To assist in investigation of customer complaint
• Develop/calculate/test improved formulations for current products when needed.
• Reviews and/or completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding research and development processes, tasks, results, and conclusions; draws conclusions and receives direction when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT

• Complete bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Diploma in Chemical Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Laboratory and specification analysis.
• Preferably in an edible oil, margarine, shortening production company or similar.
• Experience with ISO Standard such as ISO9001/ISO22000 and documentation is preferable.
