Job Description

You will be responsible for Technical support for Heubach BU PP in SEAP , based in ATAC Malaysia

Specific accountabilities, while not limited to, include:

• Technical support to Customers, Distributors, Sales and Marketing staff in the form of data and displays required to promote the sale of Heubach PP products.
• Extensive customer support through direct visits, regionally in Asia Pacific
• Technical assistance in promoting Heubach products at trade shows, etc.
• Training of Sales, Marketing and Distributor staff in areas of product performance and application knowledge.
• Comprehensive support to the manufacturing group to facilitate the achievement of quality.
• Support for the Research & Development group, where required, to assist the achievement of research objectives.
• Investigative testing and resolution of customer complaints with reporting mechanisms
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of any development work undertaken, in line with standard procedures.
• Supervision of scale up trials resulting from customer approvals of new product developments.
• Ensure conformity to Company safety and environmental policy and objectives.
• Participate in the Industry Co-ordination Teams. Performing market assessments relating to existing and future potential products.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
• Performing technical market assessments relating to existing and future potential products.

• University degree or equivalent, preferably in chemistry or associated field of study.
• Minimum (3) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in pigments, coatings, ink, or plastics industries.
• Experience in managing a diverse, technically oriented customer base
• Team player with excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Project & product management.
• Detailed knowledge of color matching and tinting systems
• Complaint resolution
• Proven interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to project a professional positive public image and goodwill.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
• Team player with excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Oral knowledge of other languages are advantages.
