Key responsibilities:

• To develop strategies for the development and quality of Academic Programmes; collaborating with top tier universities to enhance the academic offering, rating & ranking
• To drive research and innovation culture, for the purpose of obtaining grants and endowment

\xe2\x80\xa2 To instill entrepreneurship values among members of the academics, in order to generate income for the University \xe2\x80\xa2 To build strong partnership with industry players, to open doors to opportunities for exposure

• To develop strategies on the development and administration of student development programmes. Also to enhance alumni relations, governmental relations and related activities.
• To develop a comprehensive student facility and learning support services as well as Technopreneur Development programmes
• To develop the overall intake growth and the International Student Enrolment growth by focusing on improving the visibility with greater web presence and accessibility to online volume and quality of publications and news of the university
• To identify potential renowned professors who will share knowledge and expertise as well as develop, nurture, mentor and coach academic talents.

Requirements

• PhD degree plus significant experience in university level teaching, research and administration is required for this position. In addition, hands on experience dealing with government and his agencies is required.
• Min 10 years of experience holding management position in education industry
• Experience in the Higher Education Ministry will be an added advantage
• In touch with the trends & advancements of the academic world and job market need
• A problem solver and able to make timely decision
