Job Description


  • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Accounting, or Professional Qualification of ACCA, PA, ICEAW, CIMA & must be MIA member.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in finance leadership roles, ideally as a CFO or in senior finance positions within a large organization or group - preferably in Retail Industry or Public Listed Company.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices relevant to the industry sector(s) the group operates in.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences. Preferable to speak in Mandarin.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and contribute to the overall business strategy.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute the company\'s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the group on timely basis.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial data and metrics to provide insights into the company\'s performance and trends.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and manage financial and operational risks affecting the company\'s profitability and sustainability efficiency.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations and other related regulations and other related regulatory requirements, setting up SOP for operation and ensure the execution on timely basis.
Capital Management:
  • Manage capital structure and allocation, including overseeing financing strategies and investment decisions.
  • Optimize the company\'s capital resources to support growth and profitability goals.
Corporate Finance:
  • Lead initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
  • Negotiate financing agreements and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
Corporate Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and governance frameworks.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop talent within the finance function and promote professional development.
Strategic Decision Support:
  • Evaluate business opportunities, assess financial implications, and recommend courses of action.
