Deputy Chief Financial Officer Confidential Permanent Sarawakian Only We are looking for an experienced Deputy Chief Financial Officer to work alongside the Chief Financial Officer as the second-in-command, playing a crucial role in the oversight and management of financial health and strategy for Sarawak\'s leading telecommunications company. This role demands a strategic thinker with a robust financial background, outstanding leadership skills, and a demonstrated track record of achieving financial success in a complex business environment. You should be able to collaborate with the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies to meet organizational objectives, conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes, etc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing and attending to various corporate documents, announcements, disclosures, and forms in relation to the Company in compliance with all regulations. Collaborate with the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies to meet organizational objectives. Conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making processes. Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to optimize financial performance. Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets. Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts to guide strategic planning. Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed. Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the organization\'s financial stability. Implement and oversee effective internal controls to safeguard financial assets. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations. Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary. Supervise and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results- driven culture. Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with overall organizational objectives. Engage with external partners, investors, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Stay informed about changes in accounting principles and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven experience in a senior financial management role, with at least 20 years of progressive experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
