Position: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Location: Johor Bahru HQ

Requirements:

Brand Strategy & Positioning



Develop and refine the group-wide brand architecture across restaurant, cafe, and future bakery brand(s). Ensure each sub-brand has a distinct identity while aligning with the group's master brand and values. Lead rebranding/positioning work for new acquisitions.

Marketing & Growth



Own the marketing roadmap -- digital, offline, PR, influencer, partnerships, and loyalty programs. Launch national and regional brand campaigns, from concept to execution and measurement. Drive customer acquisition and retention through data-driven performance marketing strategies.

Brand Amplification & Awards



Build and execute strategies to win Tatler Dining, Top Cafe lists, and future Michelin Guide recognitions. Handle all press relations, partnerships, and brand collaborations with premium lifestyle brands.

Digital & Content Direction



Oversee storytelling strategy across social media, content marketing, and video production. Champion creative excellence -- lead in-house and agency partners to craft compelling, brand-aligned content.

Expansion Marketing



Prepare go-to-market launch strategies for new outlet openings across Malaysia and beyond. Develop acquisition brand integration plans (e.g., bakery, scalable cafe units). Support investor brand decks and pitch positioning in fundraising or M&A.

Sustainability & ESG Branding



Embed ESG narratives into marketing -- transparency, community, sustainability, and ethics.
Requirements:

Visionary storyteller who can shape and scale brands across multiple verticals. Strategic thinker with executional excellence -- comfortable juggling creative and commercial goals. Proven experience in F&B, lifestyle, or hospitality branding (regional exposure a big plus). Strong grasp of digital trends, brand positioning, and growth marketing. Bonus: Experience in acquisition/integration marketing or rebranding acquired assets. Experience working with venture-backed brands or family-grown businesses evolving into brand groups. Worked on brand launches that won regional F&B or hospitality awards. Passion for storytelling rooted in community, fire, and food. Strong understanding of the F&B industry Proficient in both Mandarin and English

Remuneration Package:



Basic: Up to RM 10K

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 6pm, inclusive of 1 hr break for lunch

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
