Job Description

• A Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering or a related field; a Master\'s degree is a plus (but not a prerequisite)
• 1 - 5 years of industry experience in civil engineering; exposure to the RE industry is beneficial.
• Experience in drainage and irrigation is a plus. Experience with piling works and piling technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) for civil design and basic modelling
• Familiarity with introductory geotechnical and structural analysis software
• Elementary understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater management, and foundation design principles
• Clear communication skills to collaborate within diverse teams and interact with external stakeholders
• Effective problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, alongside a commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently
• Awareness of applicable codes and industry standards

Responsibilities

• Assist in civil engineering design and coordination tasks for solar and other renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate civil engineering elements into the overall project plan, encompassing permitting, environmental considerations, and construction activities
• Participate in the creation of detailed civil engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and reports that adhere to local codes, safety guidelines, and sustainability principles
• Support interactions with regulatory authorities and local stakeholders to facilitate the acquisition of necessary permits and approvals for site development
• Participate in site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to provide input for site selection and project feasibility
• Assist in performing structural analyses, soil investigation/testing, and foundation design to ensure the integrity of solar infrastructure
• Participate in site visits and inspections to evaluate civil infrastructure and ensure alignment with design specifications
• Support projects throughout their complete life cycle, encompassing feasibility assessment, preliminary and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations
