Job Description

1. Quality Assurance & Inspection

Inspect civil and structural works (e.g., earthworks, formwork, rebar, concrete casting, blockwork, plastering) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
oMonitor work quality and workmanship on-site in accordance with QMS and construction standards.

oConduct visual and dimensional checks before, during, and after construction activities.

2. Documentation & Reporting

oPrepare and maintain inspection reports, request for inspection (RFI) forms, site observation reports, and material approval records.

oUpdate inspection records, concrete cube test results, soil compaction tests, and other relevant test data.

oAssist in compiling handover dossiers, as-built markups, and QA/QC reports.

3. Testing & Verification

oWitness and record results for field tests including concrete slump tests, rebar pull-out tests, cube compression tests, soil compaction tests, etc.

oCoordinate with third-party labs for material testing and verify test reports.

oEnsure proper curing, backfilling, and protection measures are in place as per standard practices.

4. Coordination & Compliance

oLiaise with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and QA/QC team for inspection arrangements.

oEnsure civil works are carried out in compliance with project drawings, authority standards, and client requirements.

oTrack and report non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and follow up on closure.

5. Ad-Hoc Tasks

oAssist QA/QC Engineer or Manager in overall quality management system implementation.

oCarry out any other inspection or quality-related task assigned by management.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
