Marsh and McLennan Companies (MMC) is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Kuala Lumpur Shared Services Operations Office in Q Sentral:

Claims Specialist - General Insurance (Chinese Literate)

We will count on you to:

• Registration, Processing and Adjudication of claims (General Insurance) within turnaround time.
• Ensure computed claims settlement and verified reimbursements from insurers are valid.
• Diligently monitor and follow-up on unsettled claims with insurers and/or outstanding information from clients.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Prepare claims statistic report on a monthly basis include, updating the documentation processes.
• Communicate with service provider via phone and email to help gather missing details and support documentation.
• Process payments, as needed
• Process Reinsurance Claims, follow-ups with payment etc
• Proactively identify problems with the team or client and provide solutions.
• Participate in project initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department.

What you need to have:

• A Degree holder in any field, preferably in Insurance
• Minimum of 1 -2 years working experience as Claims Executive or in Claims Operation
• Ability to read and write in Traditional/Simplified Chinese
• Possess basic General Insurance Knowledge (especially in Liability)
