About the role:

We are looking for a Product Specialist who will be assisting in conducting General Insurance & Group Employee Benefits Insurance product research and analysis. This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager, GI & Group Insurance Department. This position is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, develop and maintain product documentations and product comparison.
  • Assist in upkeep of product comparison & related systems.
  • Collaborate with IT Team in delivering timely product comparison.
  • Participate in discussions with sales force to gather feedback on product propositions & align business needs.
  • Conduct product research and analyses.
  • Ability to handle product queries from internal/external stakeholders and resolve product issues & enquiries.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies.
  • Assist in the day to day operations function in the Department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Insurance or Marketing related disciplines.
  • Preferably with at least 3 - 5 years of working experience. Experience in insurance-related sales environment & ongoing trends will be a strong advantage.
  • Certifications/licenses \xe2\x80\x93 General Insurance Certificates, Health Insurance special skills preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Possess strong traits of analytical mind and good communication skills to articulate ideas in a simplified and laymen manner to stakeholders.
  • Meticulous & attention to details.
  • Proactive, positive mindset and highly adaptable to changes.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Able to multitask and work well with tight timelines.
