Job Summary: The Clean Room Technician performs activities directly and indirectly related to the completion of environmental and hazardous material warehousing and Clean Room projects through the insertion of dip tubes into prepackaged purity chemicals. Experience and Education: \xc2\xb7 One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Communication Skills: \xc2\xb7 Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situation; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings; able to read and interpret written information \xc2\xb7 Affectively and appropriately communicate with vendors, customers, providers and other Rinchem employees, including both oral and written communication Computer Skills: \xc2\xb7 To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Contact Management systems and ChemStar Inventory software \xc2\xb7 Ability to compile and analyze data and prepare reports from data Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: \xc2\xb7 Obtain and maintain Clean Room Technician Certification \xc2\xb7 Must be able to successfully complete required training per 29 CFT 1910.120 to perform job duties Other Skills and Abilities: \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations \xc2\xb7 Requires visual acuity, reading skills, mathematical skills and analytical skills \xc2\xb7 Requires facial hair to be shaved to ensure proper facemask fit \xc2\xb7 Ability to organize, review analyze and file paperwork o Accurately read and comprehend word and numbers o Ability to create graphs and charts from data o Ability to discern difference in data to accurately organize information \xc2\xb7 Ability to accurately organize, package, store, ship and receive materials \xc2\xb7 Ability to safely work around hazardous materials \xc2\xb7 Ability to affectively schedule, plan, prioritize and set goals \xc2\xb7 Ability to safely drive a forklift in accordance with safe practices Primary Responsibilities of the Job: \xc2\xb7 Follows written work instructions and JBDs precisely \xc2\xb7 Works safely and utilizes all necessary PPE \xc2\xb7 Escalates any potential safety or quality concerns \xc2\xb7 Performs accurate quality control checks \xc2\xb7 To properly track and maintain all dip-tubes sent by vendors \xc2\xb7 To have, on hand, an adequate level of dip-tubed drums to maintain the customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements \xc2\xb7 Properly use dip-tube management program in Warehouse Management System \xc2\xb7 Maintain daily startup/shut down procedures packet for day to day clean room operation and turn in to the cleanroom supervisor \xc2\xb7 Properly tag drums with dip-tubed stickers as inventory is processed through the clean room \xc2\xb7 On-call during off hours for any issues associated with dip-tube inventory \xc2\xb7 Check all inserted dip-tubes using proper key codes \xc2\xb7 Neutralize and dispose of waste water as needed \xc2\xb7 Take and send water sample at the end of each month \xc2\xb7 Remove all tubes from spent drums and prepare returnable drums for shipment \xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness of the cleanroom \xc2\xb7 Receive, label, wrap, inspect, and stow on hold and reject material when returned by delivery staff in accordance with return authorization form SOP \xc2\xb7 Perform filter change-outs when necessary \xc2\xb7 Assist CSR in daily operations \xc2\xb7 Perform warehouse technician duties as needed \xc2\xb7 Provide assistance for chemical deliveries as needed \xc2\xb7 Participates in Kaizen or process improvement teams \xc2\xb7 Must serve on the COI committee \xc2\xb7 Participates in safety, quality or other committee memberships as needed \xc2\xb7 Order cleanroom supplies as needed through appropriate channels \xc2\xb7 Participate in special operations as requested by the Operations Manager Job Type: Full-time Benefits:
